Kensington Park tops the list of parks in the neighbourhood. Boasting some of the best views in the city (from the top of the hill on 37th and Knight), this picturesque park has large sports fields, a skate park (it kinda looks like an empty 80’s swimming pool), playgrounds and a ball diamond.  It’s also home to the Kensington Community Centre (see below).

Locals have the luxury of being so close to Memorial South Park, designed specifically for sporting events and community gatherings. The sports fields, outdoor rink and running track entertain all sorts sporting events. The synthetic turf field hosts soccer, field hockey and lacrosse and it’s well lit for evening games. Clark Park, just north on East 14th Ave, features basketball courts, soccer fields, tennis courts and a baseball diamond.

The Kensington Community Centre is the centre point in the neighbourhood.

Located on the eastern border of Kensington Park, the community centre features a fitness center, a preschool education center, pottery studios, gym, dance studios, meeting rooms, and a swimming pool.
