Grandview-Woodland is located on the east side of Vancouver and bordered by Victoria, Knight, Mount Pleasant East, Strathcona, Hastings, Renfrew and Renfrew Heights.

Trout Lake is the crown jewel of recreation in Grandview-Woodland.

Trout Lake has an abundance of green space, beaches, boating, jogging trails and picnic areas.

Greenspace is the name of the game, and this community wins in spades. You’ll find large, open parks packed with amenities for the whole family. So much so, that it’s hard to list everything at your fingertips. 

Trout Lake obviously takes the park crown with its beaches, off-leash dog park, fresh water lake, boating, baseball fields, swimming rafts, trails and so much more. McSpadden Park is large and has a community garden & tennis courts. There’s also Victoria Park, Templeton Park and Garden Park.  All have their own features that cater to families and recreation.

The recently renovated John Hendry Park centre is impressive.

The centre features a large fitness centre, an ice rink, pottery and art studios, performing arts, a full-size gym and a pre-school.

There are seven elementary schools in Grandview-Woodland, including Lord Nelson Elementary, Britannia Elementary, Grandview Elementary, Queen Victoria Annex, Queen Alexandra Elementary, Tyee Elementary  and Laura Secord Elementary. Top-rated secondary schools reside here as well like Gladstone Secondary, Templeton Secondary and Britannia Secondary School.

Transit is a breeze in this community.  The 99 B-Line runs right down Broadway and the Commercial-Broadway SkyTrain Station gives residents access to Downtown Vancouver in minutes.
