If you’re looking for a bit more grit in your shopping experience, head south on Granville Street where you can find a unique selection of boutique shops, bars and restaurants.
Entertainment
The hub of entertainment downtown starts with the Granville Entertainment District.
Stretching, roughly, from Nelson Street to Robson Street, downtown Granville Street is packed with bars and nightclubs, making it easy to club-hop from one destination to another.
Legendary venues like The Commodore Ball Room host live bands and big-name DJs, while smaller bands and venues host a number of events. The popular Orpheum Theatre always has a long list of performing arts and live bands to see.
If you’re into live sports, there’s no better place than Downtown. Catch a Canucks game at Rogers Centre, see a Whitecaps soccer match or catch the BC Lions football game at BC Place.
