Seaside living at its best.

Home to the famous Granville Island, the waterfront neighbourhood of False Creek is one of Vancouver’s most picturesque and vibrant communities.

The area has a distinct and charming character, offering stunning views and fantastic recreation space, and a very active seawall that borders the northern part of the neighbourhood.  It’s also home to some of Vancouver’s top local spots including Granville Island and Olympic Village, a community that was once the hub for athlete accommodations for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

On The Map

False Creek is just north of West 6th Avenue and bordered by Kitsilano, Fairview and Mount Pleasant.

False Creek is an outdoor lovers paradise.

The seawall outlines the southern part of False Creek and provides a stunning pathway system that gives locals and visitors an incredible place to run, bike or walk while overlooking the stunning downtown core & north short mountains.

False Creek is home to one of the premier Dragon Boat Festivals in the world.  This annual event is a favourite for both locals and visitors and attracts some of the top international dragon boat teams.

Residents have fantastic options with both The False Creek Community Centre on Granville Island and The Creekside Community Centre in Olympic Village where you can get in a workout, play basketball, join a fitness class or have access to daycare.

Granville Island is the focal point for shopping & dining.

This world famous tourist attraction has a wonderful mixture of shopping, dining, performing arts & accommodations.  If you're looking for fresh seafood, there's no better place than the Granville Island Public Market.

Granville Island is also a great place to relax for an afternoon, grab a bite to eat, watch the sailboats cruise by and take in some live performers.  The area is usually packed with both locals and tourists, so keep that in mind if you’re trying to make your way down there and planning to park your car.
