Get Outside
The vast green spaces in the neighbourhood sets it apart from most inner city communities.
Two large parks in the neighbourhood, Carnarvon Park & Trafalgar Park, are perfect for spending the day outside.
Both parks offer a wide variety of amenities including baseball diamonds, football fields, soccer fields and playgrounds. Trafalgar Park has a cricket pitch and you can let your furry friend off leash for a play.

If private schoools is on your list of “must haves” then you’ll love Arbutus Ridge. You’ll only be a short drive away from Crofton House, York House, Little Flower Academy and St. Georges.

A full range of shops & services are only a few blocks away on West Broadway.
If you opt to "shop local" there's a great selection of locally owned services and boutique shops that run along West 16th that are definitely worth checking out.
Four blocks north on Arbutus Street will land you at a two block stretch with several shops and services, including a Tisol for your pet needs, a flower shop, salons, coffee shops and a bakery. Nudge your way down to West Broadway and you’ll find a Fitness world, a BC Liquor store, unique gifts and decor, spas, fashion boutiques, services, groceries and a wide selection of multi-cultural eats.
All your grocery needs can be found right on West 16th Avenue. The Loblaws on 16th and Arbutus is a staple for the locals and offer a full range of fresh produce to delicious deserts. Just off MacDonald and 16th is the BC owned and operated Choices Market for all of your organic grocery needs. Just south is the newly redeveloped Arbutus Shopping Centre with a beautiful new Safeway and a BC Liquor Store across the street.
