Southlands

Southlands is located on the south west edge of Vancouver and bordered by Dunbar, University, Kerrisdale and SW Marine.
Get Outside
Gallop your way to the Fraser and enjoy the waterfront parks & leisurely walks on the boardwalk.
Without a doubt, Southlands is an equestrian first community, but there's plenty of things to do for those who aren't quite ready to saddle up.
Go for a hike or take the dog for a walk through the 5km loop through Musqueam Park. Head down to Fraser River Park and take in the beautiful views of the Fraser River. The park also has a dog off-leash area and areas to have a picnic.

Equestrian centres are the focal point in the community.
With over 200 acres of horse stables, indoor and outdoor riding arenas and miles of trails to ride or walk, you're not going to find another urban community like this in Canada.
Southlands is also central to some of the best golf courses in Vancouver. You can tee it up, privately, at Point Grey Golf & Country Club and Marine Drive Golf Club. Or, if you want to go public, McCleery Golf Course and Driving Range, which is owned and operated by the Parks Board in the City of Vancouver, is right next door.

Whether you're in a need of a grocery run or a date night, you'll have lots of options in front of you.
Kerrisdale Village, located just north of the community on West 41st Ave, has everything from quaint cafés to trendy boutique clothing stores. The south end of neighbouring Dunbar offers a “main street” filled with restaurants, small shops, a Save-On-Foods and a liquor store. To the east is Granville Street, where you can grocery shop at one of the largest Safeways in western Canada, grab a book at the library, buy that perfect bottle of wine or experience some exceptional cuisine.

Situated between Kerrisdale and Southlands, this primarily residential neighbourhood takes on a mix of its neighbours with gated mansions, equestrian stables and stunning ocean views to the southwest.
