Granville Island

Vancouver, BC

Granville Island is both a locals’ favourite and a huge draw for visitors. This “must see” Vancouver attraction sits just south of the downtown peninsula, right under the Granville Bridge.

This iconic stop is one of the top attractions in Vancouver.

This world-famous tourist attraction has a wonderful mixture of shopping, dining, performing arts & accommodations.

If you’re looking for fresh seafood, there’s no better place than the Granville Island Public Market. The Public Market is open from 9am to 6pm, 7 days a week. Daily fresh food from the ocean, the oven, and the field, with friendly local vendors ready to load up your shopping bag!

Granville Island is also a great place to relax for an afternoon, grab a bite to eat, watch the sailboats cruise by and take in some live performers.  The area is usually packed with both locals and tourists, so keep that in mind if you’re trying to make your way down there and planning to park your car.  Getting here is a breeze with plenty of parking, pathways and, of course, you can easily jump on the colourful Aquabus or False Creek Ferries and zip across False Creek.

On The Map

Granville Island is located directly under the Granville Bridge and borders False Creek.
