Just a quick stroll north from English Bay into Stanley Park, Second Beach is highlighted by a large, heated outdoor pool.
One of the smaller beaches in Vancouver, Second Beach is a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, take in some rays and relax. You can swim in the area, but if you’re looking to take a dip it’s recommended to wander over to the outdoor swimming pool on the northern end of the beach.
The area is packed with great amenities for everyone, including two great children’s play areas, a concession stand, picnic tables and a large open field for sports and games. Just steps away is the Stanley Park Pitch & Putt, and the seawall is always a great option for a walk, run or bike ride.
Second Beach is located on the western edge of Stanley Park and overlooks Kitsilano, Point Grey and English Bay.
